Where to find coupons?

We have been asked by many where exactly we find these coupons. To simplify the task for you, here is a short guide where you can find the majority (but not limited to) some of the best coupons out there!

● TearPad (In-store coupons commonly found in the store. Maxi and Loblaws usually have a stand at the entrance with a variety of different coupons. Other stores will have them in the aisles of the store next to the products in question). Keep an eye out for them, but be certain to leave some for others!

● Local newspapers (Some will contain booklets such as UtiliSource. These are usually found in the Saturday editions).

● There are many sites online that have coupons. Although there are many, here are the most ones we most commonly refer to: Save, GoCoupons, Websaver ou P&G (Brandsaver). After you select your coupons, some will either mail them to you and/or the coupons will be printable. We have never had any issues with printed coupons, but some stores do not accept them for fear that they may be fraudulent (yes, there are even fraudulent coupons…).

● Facebook is a very good source of coupons. If you do not have an account, Facebook could be very practical to get ‘hidden’ coupons and gratuities, sometimes multiple times a week! These coupons are released on a weekly basis and sometimes by limited quantities. These coupons are usually of higher value (or for free products!) than you would find on the sites mentioned above. Subscribe to our newsletter and/or follow us on Facebook to receive notices once these coupons are available!

Most importantly, do not be in a hurry to use your coupons. Patience is required to assure you use your coupons when the price of the product is at its lowest. A good trick is to organize your coupons which can be very useful when you have many! We have a plain binder with collection card holder sheets (9 per sheet) which are categorized (by food, cleaning products, personal care products. etc).

Another trick is to have an Excel spreadsheet with a list of items with their regular price and the lowest price you have seen. Most of the time, specials return and this will help you determine when the best time to use your coupons is!
